Club Committee
Committee for season 2010
At a meeting held on Tuesday, 10 November 2009 a seven (7) man strong committee was elected. The committee comprises members representing both reserve and first teams as well as youth and senior players. The committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss primarily off-field issues for the benefit of the clubs members. Your committee for season 2010 includes:
President:
Clayton Kendall
Clayton extends his presidential role into its third term and is still the youngest President in WA football. He has been part of the club since 2000 and is an integral part of the Murdoch 1st team squad. His off-field leadership and dedication to Murdoch has seen the club move forward in recent years with clinical organisation, ideas and enthusiasm. Don’t be fooled by his Owen Wilson persona, there is nothing comical about the way he runs the club. A true clubman who will be around for a long time to come.
Secretary:
Mark Kendall
Mark Kendall aka ‘Romper’ is a 1st team stalwart who has reestablished himself at the club after unsuccessfully trialling with beloved clubs Manchester United and Doncaster. Romper fills a void both on and off the field that was left upon his departure 5 years ago. Romper’s commerical business sense and cat like reflexes in defence has the fans returning in droves.
Treasurer:
Jason Dixon
Some might say that Jason epitomises everything good about Murdoch. His role as Treasurer comes second nature to this accounts manager and he balances the books to great effect year after year. He has been at the club for a number of years and is part of the furniture. A talented player, vip member at Mrs. Macs and a leader of others. His desire to win is an asset to any club.
Registrar:
Thomas Parayil
PJ slum dog is apprentice turned master as assumes the role of club registrar with his understudy, Juan Pablo Blazen Zoric. PJ has fitted in very nicely at Murdoch and his adoring fans just want more. PJ, who holds the trademark to the ‘PJ slum slide tackle’, is an enthusiastic member of the club and the committee is grateful to have retained his services for the 2010 year.
Registrar:
Blazen Zoric
Blazen Zoric affectionately known as ‘Blaz’ steps into PJ Slum Dog’s shoes as the registrar’s apprentice. Blaz has been with the club for a few years now and its only now that he has allowed himself to be induced onto the committee. When Blaz starts performing the PJ Slum Slide we will know that he has learned everything he can from PJ. The club is grateful to have one of its young members on the committee for season 2010.
General Member:
Tim Brewer
The tall and slender Tim who has adopted the ironic knickname ‘Fat Tim’ climbs on board the Murdoch committee bus for season 2010. Fat Tim is ready to help the club make a difference and has prepared himself (and sought permission from his wife, mum and kid) to participate in long, tense meetings and to make the tough calls. The club is grateful that another Murdoch historian has put his hand up for the greater good.
General Member:
Daniele D’Ulisse
Daniele joined the club from arch rivals Fremantle United and has settled into the club like Nursey settles into a tub of ice-cream. Daniele, a striker by trade, is another one of Murdoch’s younger members and has kindly step forward for a committee gig for season 2010. The committee is grateful for his help.
