Club History
Murdoch University Soccer Club (MUSC) were formed in 1975 by a group of teachers at the University, lead by Bobby Collins. For many years Murdoch made the University playing fields their home and in the late 1990’s this became a venue opposition teams feared to tread as this was the most successful period in MUSC’s history.
With its links with the University, Murdoch has seen many international players put on the Regal Purple and White. Only last season we were represented by Australian, English, Zimbabwean, Norwegian, Swedish, German, Hungarian, Mauritian and Irish players. The squad is made up of not only students, but former students and players from across Perth.
MUSC has moved homes on a couple of occasions in the past few years with the uncertainty of playing on a below standard pitch at the University, the club has now be welcomed to Melville City Soccer Club and will be playing at Len Shearer Reserve.
MUSC has a proud tradition of playing football in the correct way and always being a team fighting for honours year after year.
